Abstract |
Background. Military and administrative aspects of the participation of the population of the Middle Volga region in the early Russian colonization of Siberia in contrast to the socio-economic is still not attracted the attention of researchers, which does not allow to adequately disclose the specifics of the new “Kingdom” of Moscow rulers in the first years after “Epic Ermak’s”.
Materials and methods. In the study of topics essential with maximum fullness use of a set of documentary and narrative sources of the varieties. To elucidate the role of the inhabitants of the Middle Volga region in the process of Russian colonization
of Siberia at the turn of XVI–XVII centuries provides for the determination of the circle of Moscow and elective nobility, which in positions of the governors or written goals we meet not only in the “Zakamenskiy the country”, but also on “the
Bottom” of Siberian serving “on the device” – the natives of the Kazan region, as well as the origin of “polonnikov” and “Polish” the Cossacks, included in the ranks of the garrisons of the first cities in the Asian part of Russia.
Results. In this paper we establish, in any TRANS-Ural military expeditions of the late sixteenth century was attended by service people of the Middle Volga, it turns out, what caused the desire of the government to appoint governors and Desk
heads to Siberia prominent noblemen, were already established in the administrative field in Kazan and neighboring cities, and Vice versa, which, in particular, testifies to similar conditions of colonization of these regions.
Conclusions. The article substantiates the conclusion that serving the population of the Kazan region plays an important role in the process of Russian colonization of the “Siberian land” at the end of the XVI century, starting with the first government
expedition for the “Stone”; in Siberia distributed regional management system that existed at that time in the Volga districts, and with the participation of the administrator. Such area may serve as the history of the Middle Volga region and Siberia the
period under review, the military, administrative, and sometimes social aspects of the development of late medieval Russia in General.
